How we care for members and the information they share.
Respectful participation
We welcome members across countries and generations. Harassment, sharing others' private information, and unsupported family claims are not permitted.
Member privacy
Contact details are private by default. Members control whether their profile appears in the directory, and introductions happen only by consent.
Evidence & consent
Heritage, notable profiles, and memorial submissions require sources or family permission as appropriate. A shared surname is not proof of a genealogical relationship.
How enrolment works
Anyone who shares the Aoun name can apply. Applications are reviewed by the administration. You'll be notified when your membership is approved.
Your data
Your information is stored securely and used only to operate the community. You may request changes or removal at any time through Help & suggestions.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, forms are protected against cross-site request forgery, and administrator actions are logged.
